Mobility and Utility
With its powerful 46PS water-cooled 4-cylinder diesel engine, the BY460 can handle rough or muddy logging roads with ease. Smooth and efficient two-pump/two-motor HST drivetrain provides smooth and easy operation without reverse-steering or jerky handling often associated with the ordinary gear-transmission.
Stability
With its 1400mm track contact length, 1300mm track gauge and side-loading, this machine has enough stability to carry logs up to 12m long, yet still maintain maneuverability useful in the tight logging roads..
Light but Sturdy
Light-weight (2.2t) but sturdy machine boasts big payload of 2.8t. Combined with the 2-stage drivetrain with the maximum speed of 10km/h (unloaded), this machine allows more efficient work in the forest.
Hydraulic Dump and Pole
Hydraulically operated dump and side poles come standard, making unloading easy and quick.
Full suite of Safety Features
When the control levers are returned to the neutral, brake is engaged automatically with its autobrake mechanism. Engine can be started only when the control levers are in the parking position, preventing accidential movement of the machine. When the parking brake is engaged, the machine does not move even if the control levers are operated, preventing the damage to the drivetrain.
